From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every element of their day had been thoughtfully and authentically curated. The atmosphere was relaxed yet full of excitement, and there was a real sense of joy that carried through from morning preparations right into the evening party.
Wood Hall Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion — its elegant interiors and peaceful surroundings set the scene beautifully for a day filled with heartfelt moments and genuine emotion.
As always, my aim was to document the day as it unfolded, capturing the quiet glances, the shared laughter, and everything in between.
Their friends and family were an absolute delight to be around — warm, welcoming, and full of life. It’s always a privilege to be invited into such an intimate occasion, and everyone made me feel like part of the celebration, which I’m incredibly grateful for.
As the sun began to set, the energy shifted and the evening party truly came alive. The band played emo classic after emo classic — a brilliant nod to Sophie & Ed’s fantastic taste in music (in my humble opinion) — and the dance floor was packed with guests letting loose and enjoying every moment.
It’s days like these that remind me why I do what I do.
