Nat & Jordan’s Wedding: A Day Full of Warmth and Joy
As a Yorkshire-based wedding photographer, I have the privilege of travelling across the UK to capture the stories of couples in love. From the very first conversation with Nat and Jordan, I knew their wedding would be something truly special.
From the very first conversation, it was clear how much thought and care Nat and Jordan had poured into their plans — not just in terms of venues and details, but in creating a day that truly reflected who they are and what they mean to each other.
The way they spoke about one another — with quiet admiration, deep affection, and a shared sense of humour — made it impossible not to feel invested. Hearing their story, seeing how they balanced each other so naturally, and understanding the intention behind the choices they were making filled me with genuine excitement and a real sense of privilege to be part of it all.
When the big day arrived, I was immediately welcomed by the bridesmaids — a wonderful group of warm, friendly women who made me feel completely at ease. Among them, the bride’s sister stood out as a completely lovely legend — an absolute wonder to work with all day. Her kindness, calm presence, and good humour made everything flow smoothly, and I was grateful for her support and warmth throughout the day.
One of the most touching parts of the day was witnessing the deep bond between Jordan and his best lady. It was clear how much that friendship meant to both of them — a calm, steady presence that brought an extra layer of support and connection throughout the day.
The venues we visited were each beautiful in their own right, offering unique charm and character that perfectly reflected Nat and Jordan’s style. The day unfolded effortlessly, with a lovely balance of joyful moments, heartfelt emotion, and thoughtful details.
There were so many moments that will stay with me. The library, with its timeless elegance and quiet atmosphere, provided the perfect setting for some truly memorable portraits. The playful addition of lightsabers brought a light-hearted, fun spirit to the day that felt perfectly natural for the couple. I had been especially looking forward to capturing the dinosaur and the whale — carefully planned touches that added a unique and memorable element to the celebration. The centrepieces, crafted with such care and personality, were a true highlight — one of which now sits proudly on my desk, a daily reminder of this wonderful day.
Nat and Jordan’s wedding was more than just a celebration — it was a heartfelt gathering of love and friendship, filled with warmth, laughter, and moments that were perfectly them. It was an honour to witness and capture every detail.
