From the very first moment, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding — it was their wedding, infused with the kind of personal touches that made it truly one of a kind.
A Calm Morning Together
Becki & Lou chose to get ready together at home, which set the tone for the entire day — relaxed, intimate, and full of love. There was no fuss, just the two of them moving through the morning side by side, helping each other with final touches, sharing quiet moments (and a few nervous giggles) before heading off to say their vows. It was a beautifully calm start to a day that was all about doing things their way.
Personal Touches That Told Their Story
The venue, nestled in the stunning Yorkshire countryside, was the perfect backdrop for such a heartfelt day. But what truly made it unforgettable were all the beautifully thought-out details that reflected who Becki & Lou are — as individuals, and as a couple.
One of the brides’ cousins, a professional baker, created the most exquisite wedding cake — not only stunning but made with so much love. Everywhere you turned, there were details that told a story: delicate origami butterflies folded with care in memory of a loved one; hand-sewn signs that added a soft, handmade charm to the day; table numbers illustrated by Lou (who is, unsurprisingly, an insanely talented illustrator); and let’s not forget the impeccable homemade cat-shaped biscuits, Made by Becki — a little nod to their fur family.
Every part of the day felt intentional and meaningful — a true reflection of Becki & Lou’s lives, their love, and their community. It was emotional, joyful, and unapologetically authentic. A day where happy tears flowed freely, and laughter echoed through the vines.
