"Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it but you can spend it. Once you've lost it, you can never have it back."

- Harvey Mackay.

I spent a little time this week reflecting on the value of my photography, and photography in general.

I was impossible not to think back to my very first wedding, An intimate celebration, with family at it heart.

Cedric, the father of the bride, a true gentleman, with a warm welcoming soul, who I remember so clearly. I felt instantly at home with him, he had a great sense of humour and spent most of the day making everyone laugh.

A proud father and grandfather, Cedric passed a little over 18 months ago, and I felt a great wave of sadness for Rachel and her family. They had lost such an important piece in their families puzzle.

I will always feel immense pride that some of my images were used during the celebration of Cedric's time with us.

I explored the unique and beautiful gallery I delivered to Rachel and Hed, as I looked and saw my creative growth over the last several years, I was both proud and thankful for this beautiful journey I am on.

"We love following your stories and feel so proud and privileged to be part of your journey. Dad would feel the same way too.

I went to the tearoom the other day with my friends and always sit on Dad's chair for a couple of minutes to remember his face, his words, his twinkly eyes when he did his little speech. Your photos preserve those memories for us for an eternity. So precious after the last year and a half without him.

They mean so much to us. Keep doing what you are doing - you're making a real difference and have always been an absolute natural at collecting natural moments.

We can never thank you enough."
